Habiart Foundation has been involved in the promotion of contemporary Indian art since 1989. The Foundation prides itself on a comprehensive exhibitions program, drawing upon local and international sources to secure the finest collections available for public viewing.
Renowned Indian artists such as A. Ramachandran, Arpana Caur, Bikash Bhattacharjee, Ganesh Haloi, M.F. Husain, Satish Gujral, Sunil Das, Suhas Roy, Shymal Dutta Ray and many others have exhibited their works along with internationally reputed names such as Shahbuddin, Shakti Burman, Maite Delteil and Thomas Easley. Through workshops, seminars and art exhibitions the gallery has also provided impetus to a growing number of younger artists.
